Hamilton's ForgeMaster™ Casters were designed to match popular industry mounting plate, bolt hole and overall height specifications. However, the precision tapered thrust bearing and guaranteed-for-life integrally forged kingpin design make it superior to the double ball race casters in its class.


OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Swivel Lock– 4 Position (-4SL)
–convert swivel to rigid for straight line steering, robotically welded housing & CNC-milled slots assure long lasting, trouble-free performance

Sealed Swivel Assembly (-SS)
–prolongs caster life in harsh environments, not available with swivel lock.

Wheel Bearing Seals (-BS)
–prolong wheel life in harsh environments

This series can be upgraded to Hamilton’s new HPI™ Swivel Technology, consult factory for pricing.

Custom Engineering
–Hamilton engineers will custom design any caster to meet customer requirements.

Double sealed, maintenance free, superior rollability aids manual applications, not recommended if shock loading is prevalent.Precision Ball Bearings
Best for most severe heavy duty and power-towed applications.Precision Tapered Roller Bearings
Traditional anti-friction bearing, best for manual applications where shock loading (but no side thrust) is prevalent.Straight Roller Bearings

QUALITY FEATURES
Swivel Construction – 3/8" thick drop forged steel mounting plate; 5/16" x 2 1/2" plate steel legs robotically welded inside and outside to forged steel horn base.
FM Series Swivel Construction

Kingpin –1" diameter integrally forged with mounting plate guaranteed for life, threaded for 3/4" diameter lock nut.

Main Load Bearing – CNC-machined 3 1/4" diameter raceway; 1/2" diameter hardened and polished steel balls.

Secondary Load Bearing – 1" precision tapered thrust bearing counteracts radial thrust.

Axle –3/4" diameter hex head with lock nut.

Lubrication Fittings – Ball-check type in swivel assembly and wheel hub.
