As the name implies, Poly-Soft® wheel tread hardness measures 82-85D (Shore A scale) vs. the harder Duralast® 90-95D (Shore A).The wheel has found popularity among automotive plants and those customers wanting to lower factory noise levels, and improve floor protection. | | Poly-Soft® wheels are also available PRONTO® with precision ball bearings in
most forged steel and cold forged casters.
The chart below offers our most popular sizes, but this soft poly tread can also be molded to Hamilton's other standard cast iron, forged steel, and/or aluminum centers in finished sizes ranging from 3w" to 20" in diameter. | | |

Bashore Rebound - 38%.
Elongation at Break - 570%.
Tensile Strength - 6000-6200 psi. Tear Strength - 500 pli. min. Abrasion Resistance - 5-10 times ordinary
rubber Temperature Range - -50° to +175°
F. intermittent; 0° to 150° F continuous. Not
damaged by occasional steam cleaning. |
